The Scott Protégé Multi-Gas Monitor is the most advanced, low-cost detection instrument available today. Thiseasy-to-operate, easy-to-maintain gas monitor is both rugged and ergonomically-designed, yet lightweight enoughto make it ideal for everyday work activities for the detection of oxygen, combustibles, hydrogen sulfide, and/or carbon monoxide. When using the optional pump, the Protégé monitor is perfected suited for confined spaceapplications.With UL 913 7th edition and IP67 certifications, the Protégé monitor is designed for use in any industrialapplication where dust, electrostatic shock, or water is present. Simple sensor change-outs allow for detectionof five different gas combinations. Proprietary configuration software prevents unintentional configurations andallows users to easily define options to meet individual customer settings. Event-change datalogging providesuseable analytics of workplace environments and usage.Its two button interface provides one-hand, intuitive operation and simple automatic calibration. Its profile, evenwith the pump, is still smaller than most instruments without a pump. Safety features of the Protégé multi-gasmonitor include bright red dual alarm bars, a piercing audible and vibrating tactile alarm, and alarms for peakreadings, battery charge, STEL, and TWA levels, all easily viewable on the instrument’s large LCD screen.
