The hook is of superb quality. Heavier than I expected. I was nervous about this and what it would mean in regards to work output in an overhaul situation. Surprisingly, the added heat of the hook makes pulling ceiling and walls substantially effortless. That along with the pry bar/ halligan claw eliminates the need for different tools. I may have gone with a smaller tool if I could go back in time with maybe the four or five footer for ease of maneuverability. No complaints. Highly recommend. It also looks badass.

I highly recommend this tool, have had the opportunity to use it on multiple occasions, it's the perfect size for any application in a burning structure, I don't leave the pumper without it.
