Carroll, IA – Iowa-based fire equipment products supplier and manufacturer Feld Fire has remained dedicated to fire industry professionals for eight decades. 2024 looks to be a busy year for the company, which starts with a new rescue truck delivery to Sugar Creek, Missouri.
The community of Sugar Creek, which has a population of over 3,200, is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area. To increase response capabilities, the Sugar Creek Fire Department (SCFD) recently took delivery of a Feld Fire 60 Dry Rescue apparatus, which was mounted on a Ford F-550 Super Duty chassis. SCFD is comprised of full-time and reserve firefighters. The department provides various services to the community of Sugar Creek including fire suppression, structural and water rescue, hazmat emergency response, and fire education.
Feld Fire recently expanded its manufacturing and fabrication department and has seen an uptick in rapid attack apparatus and skid unit orders. The company plans to offer additional rescue demo trucks in 2025.
