Titan K is the kangaroo skin version of our original Titan model and is
considered today's gold standard in structural firefighting gloves.
Kangaroo is essentially the most rugged of all leathers ounce for ounce
while maintaining incredible softness and pliability. The unique structure of kangaroo leather allows these structure fire gloves to be cut down to a relatively thin layer but still retain its strength to create kangaroo firefighting gloves. As a comparison, when split to 20% of original thickness
kangaroo skin retains 30-60% of the tensile strength of the un-split hide.
Calfskin, on the other hand, split to 20% of original thickness retains only
1-4% of its original strength.
