It can be ordered in either single or dual tone (460 Hz or 920 Hz.), which allows the user to fine tune the siren’s sound to suit their needs. Therefore, in single, 460 Hz format, its sound will penetrate obstacles such as trees and wind with greater efficiency than other sirens in its class. For a mix of penetration and long distance travel, users should select the two tone version or the “2T”.
