Carroll, IA – Fire industry leader Feld Fire, based in Carroll, Iowa, continues to help fire departments across the midwest boost their firefighting and rescue efforts. The company recently delivered a rescue apparatus to the Spirit Lake (IA) Fire Department.

Spirit Lake, Iowa, which is part of the Iowa Great Lakes region, lies just seven miles away from the Minnesota border. The population of Spirit Lake was 5,439 at the 2020 census, however, summer attractions and activities draw more than 150,000 visitors to the area.
The Spirit Lake Fire Department (SLFD) accepted the delivery of an SVI walk-in medium rescue apparatus. SLFD’s new rescue features a 22' aluminum SVI body mounted on a Freightliner M2 2-door chassis, which is powered by a Cummins L9 350HP engine.
