The AED: Be Prepared and Save Lives

Before AED’s were around CPR was what we had to rely on when someone went into cardiac arrest in public. While CPR is a great tool it has to be done right or you can impose more damage to the person your helping. AED’s make a very tedious and detailed process, a simple and easy one for anyone who needs it.
When opening an AED you are immediately shown pictures as to where to place the pads onto the person’s chest. Then when you turn it on the automated system guides you through the entire process. It does everything for you and gives you step-by-step instructions as to what to do and when to do it. These things save civilian's lives everyday, just think about it someone pulls it off the wall and no previous knowledge is required. Then you are able to sustain someone's life until EMS arrives.
Having these in your business is just another step up on the safety scale. The ease that you and your employees will have knowing that you are prepared for the worst, will comfort your employees as well as any customers that come through. The AED is a tool that can save you money in the long run, and give you and you employee’s peace of mind.
