When an emergency occurs that requires rescue, the miner will retrieve and deploy the M-R-A Alarm Beacon which is typically stored in the Mine Refuge Chamber.
The M-R-A Alarm Beacons are then deployed by the miner who activates the alarm and drops them at strategic locations for rescue teams to follow.
The M-R-A will sound its very loud alarm and display the ultra-bright LED pulse and strobe for up to 72 continuous hours.
