This valve is intended to be attached to a fixed object as a fire hydrant, fire truck or stand pipe. It is not intended to be used as a connection between two hoses. Always open valve slowly. Do not regulate water flow or pressure with the valve. Valve should open or close with eight turns. Tested burst pressure hydrostatic test per NFPA 1965.
