AS4000NL - Petzl I'D Large -NFPA
The new 2009 Petzl I'D is a self breaking descender with an anti-panic function for working on fixed ropes. The new version has a new handle which allows easier movement over horizontal or low angle terrain.
The self braking system pinches the rope and locks you onto the rope as long as you do not pull on the handle. It can be installed on the rope without disconnecting it from the harness and is great for descending, ascending, and work positioning. Constructed in anodized aluminum and stainless steel with a handle made of nylon reinforced with glass fibers for higher strength. The ID is an essential component of any industrial safety kit.
